PhD — School of Performance and Cultural Industries, University of Leeds (2019–2023, passed with editorial corrections). Practice-led research on interculture, feminism and intermediality in theatre adaptation; developed the concept of the feminist corpse. The practice piece Blossoms of Her Selves 《她薾》 premiered February 2022.

Artist-researcher in the Wellcome-funded LivingBodiesObjects research project collaborating with National Sensory Theatre, involving experimentation with new technologies for theatre creation and exploration of evaluating audience experience, particularly for students with learning disabilities.
I have interviewed more than 40 international figures including artists, designers, educators, entrepreneurs, politicians, and scholars — including heads of schools from Harvard University and Peking University, a Venice Biennial Gold Medal winner, a head of national strategic centre, a Salon du Carrousel du Louvre Gold Medal winner, and the chairman of China International Artists Association.
